There are nearly 20 villages on the Lamma Island, and most of them have preserved their original countryside appearance, including the small lanes; cottages; green meadows; fish rafts, all so simple yet natural. Sok Kwu Wan has preserved the local fisherfolk culture; it has the biggest fishery industry and was one of the largest fish breeding areas in Hong Kong.
