Rainbow Seafood Restaurant was established in 1984. It was a family-type restaurant
with a capacity of only 40 seats. In just 2 decades, Rainbow Seafood Restaurant
is now the largest restaurant on Lamma Island having a seating capacity over 800
and with more than 60 staff.
   Rainbow
Seafood Restaurant is located at Sok Kwu Wan, the largest fishing farm in Hong
Kong. While the environment here remains fresh at all time, you can always tell
the difference from the city life. To feel the breezes and take a grand look at
the Victoria Harbour while on a ferry ride is certainly a "must" for
you. Rainbow Seafood Restaurant is a dining venue highly recommended by our international
diners.
Our service staff dressed in a smart tee shirt uniform to welcome our guests
in a warm atmosphere. Our clientele are from all walks of life - the locals, the
tourists, the officials, the CEOs, celebrities and dignitaries from all over the

Rainbow Seafood Restaurant has received numerous awards in both culinary and
services, including the Best of the Best Culinary Award awarded by the Hong Kong
Tourism Board and the Hong Kong Award for Services. We are always doing our best

Best of the Best Culinary Award
Cooked in Rainbow's secret recipe, The "Fried Crab with Honey and Black
Pepper" whet the appetite of the judges and won Gold Medal of Best of the
Best Culinary Award 2001 in the Seafood (Crabs) Section. This cooking contest
was organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board to promote Hong Kong's unique food
culture to the visitors so as to safeguard Hong Kong's position as "Gourmet
Paradise".
 The
chef of Rainbow Seafood Restaurant always come up with new ideas. During the past
years, we have introduced many new dishes to participate in many food competitions.
These new dishes includes "Fried Crab with Honey and Black Pepper",
"Shrimp Salad with Mango", "Conpoy baked with Cheese Sauce"
and "Steamed Lobster with Iced Lemon" All have been well received by

The special feature of the prize-winning dish, "Fried Crab with Honey
and Black Pepper", rides on its unique seasoning, which is made of honey
and black pepper. Enhanced by squeezing a few drops of lemon juice onto it, the
combination of fresh crabs with this special recipe first produces a sweet stimulation
to your taste buds, followed by the fresh taste of the crab. Most of the guests
could not wait to grab another piece when the first piece is still in hand.

Rainbow Seafood Restaurant is the winner of 2001 Hong Kong Award for Services:
Tourism Services.
The
2001 Hong Kong Award for Services was organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board
to give public recognition to those organizations and companies that provide outstanding
services to visitors to Hong Kong. There were a large number of entrants of different
nature with extremely high standard. It was a difficult task for members of the
Judging Panel to give final decision to award the winner because of their equally
high standard. Rainbow Seafood Restaurant was selected because of several reasons.
Firstly, it has consistently provided quality services to its local customers
as well as to the tourists. Secondly,
it has put constant effort in embracing innovative ideas and enhancing productivity.
Thirdly, it has committed itself to the pursuit of excellence in all those aspects.
This is the conclusive proof that, in addition to providing the best food and

Winstar Seafood Restaurant
   As
an annex of Rainbow Seafood Restaurant, the Winstar Restaurant served as the VIP
lounge. The whole venue can be reserved for a single function. The venue can arrange
cocktail bar for reception purpose. Winstar is located just a few steps away from
Rainbow sharing the same quiet atmosphere of the bay.
In addition to all the famous Rainbow dishes, Winstar has can cater the guests
with special request with tailor made menu. Our guests are always welcomed to
watch how those wonderful dishes are being cooked through a glass screen right
in front of our kitchen.
